Teachers

Class visits are welcomed at all our libraries. These range from visits by Early Years and Key Stage 1 children as an introduction to the library, to structured information skills sessions for Key Stage 2 and 3.

Library staff are more than happy to discuss with teachers what they want out of a class visit or to put together a tailored programme.

With a little advance notice, library staff can put together information for a wide range of homework topics and projects. Not only can we gather together relevant books for loan or reference, we’ll also provide useful website suggestions or photocopied information.

Library Staff are more than happy to discuss with teachers any topics that are coming up and to work on finding the best information to provide for children coming into the library.
