The Vale Youth Service has partnered up with the YMCA Healthy Relationship Service. The YMCA Healthy Relationship Service is a specialist and confidential Sexual Health and Relationship Service.
They provide targeted support to small groups of young people aged 11-18 in the Vale of Glamorgan in a range of different youth settings. 
They cover the following topics:

  • Contraception Awareness

  • Sexually Transmitted Infection Awareness

  • Sex and The Law

  • Identifying Positive Relationships

  • Consent

  • Sexual Risk Taking (Incl. Online Safety)

 

They also coordinate and develop the C-Card Scheme on behalf of the Youth Service in the Vale of Glamorgan.  The C-Card scheme is a confidential scheme offering free condom and sexual health information and support to all young people aged 13-25 years.
