Biography
I was born in London and grew up in Camden. I have lived in Penarth for almost 30 years and have been a Councillor for the Stanwell Ward in Penarth for 20 years. I am interested in football, cricket, music and of course politics. I have a Masters Degree in Marketing as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and an Honours Bachelor Degree. I am a Business and Economics lecturer at Cardiff and Vale College, for over 30 years where I have taught on predominately A levels. I am also an experienced examiner. I am a keen follower of Tottenham Hotspur and Cardiff City where I am a season ticket holder. In the summer I follow Cricket and I am a member of Glamorgan County Cricket Club. I love most types of Music from Mussorgsky to the Rolling Stones, and often enjoy listening to it either live or at home.
I am also interested in how technology can improve work and have got into the application of Artificial Intelligence and how it could reduce workload and improve the effectiveness of organisations. I am always willing to listen to others and my objective is to improve the environment around us given the constraints that we are facing today.
