Arts Connect is a unique collaboration that aims to bring even more arts opportunities to Rhondda Cynon Taf, The Vale of Glamorgan, Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend and Caerphilly.

Arts Connect can provide an invaluable stepping stone and a helping hand for aspiring artists, musicians, singers, writers, performers and more.

The Arts Connect initiative allows South Wales to enrich and enhance the opportunities for people of all ages to engage in the arts and connect creativity across South Wales.

Members of Arts Connect share their expertise and resources in order to improve the range and quality of arts experiences on offer, ensuring that the arts in Wales contribute to:

• Emotional well-being
• Improving literacy and numeracy
• Reducing the impact of poverty
• The prosperity of Wales
• Creating vibrant, safe and sustainable communities

Arts Connect also has a strategic role in influencing policies of relevance to the arts e.g. addressing child poverty and contributing to community safety and healthy living.
